Today we spent most of the morning waiting for dad to fix the water tank mount now loose on the other side. We also went shopping and got fuel. In the outback things are more expensive. The fuel at Innamincka cost 209.7 cents per liter and back in Monto it was 162.9 cents per litre when we left. We left Innamincka at 2:00 pm and started the long journey along the Strzelecki track through the Strzelecki desert. The desert was strange because it kept changing. One minute it would be Gibber (lots of red rocks) and the next sand dunes. We stayed at the Montecollina bore along the road.
