Today Ethan rang ‘Australia All Over with Macca’ but did not get through onto the radio and spent an hour in the morning. We then drove to Pimba and turned off to Woomera. A lot of Woomera is based around rockets and missiles. We first went to Woomera Missile Park which was filled with old planes and rockets on stands that were tested and used in the Woomera Missile Range. Some were very, very big and some were small. There was also some wreckage of the satellite launching rocket called The Redstone Rocket which Dick Smith found in the Simpson Dessert. We then went to the Information center which had a museum on the history of all the missile testing. We had lunch at a park with a nature reserve attached with some animals left. We then left Woomera and continued along the Stuart Highway. We stayed at Glendambo.
