Today we went on a walk to Pelican Point along the Bulloo river at Thargomindah and also went to the old hydro power plant powered by a bore on the artesian basin. Thargomindah was the third town in the world to have electric street lighting behind only London and Paris. We then left Thargomindah and headed towards The Dig tree. We had lunch along the road at the intersection where we turned off the road to Eromanga and headed to Innamincka. This is where the flies started to irritate us. We arrived at the Dig Tree at night.
