Day 24

Today it was Territory Day. Today we did the base walk of Uluru. We left at 11:45 am and did not get back until 3:45 pm. Along the way we went on two other walks to Kantju Gorge and Mutitjula Waterhole which were the most interesting parts. We had a few snacks along the way but never actually had lunch until we got back to the caravan park which was still a small lunch. We got back to the caravan really late and did nothing for the rest of the day. At night there were fireworks all around town some from in the caravan park right next to us, some in town square and more elsewhere. It is legal to buy fireworks in the Northern Territory.
